A: They are optimised for 12V DC but will light up from 6V right up to 15V

Q: How much power do Micro Spotlites need?

A: At 12 V Micro Spotlites only consume 20 thousandths of one amp, they will light for weeks with hardly any drain on your car battery or days and days from a typical torch battery.

Q: How do I fit Micro Spotlites?

A:Full instructions for use are included with each Micro Spotlite giving guidance wether you want to use them in your car, home or pc or out and about.

Q: Are the LEDs made of coloured plastic?

 A: No, unlike LEDs used as power indicators on stereos etc. these ultra high brightness LEDs are moulded in clear.

Q: Can I operate them from the mains?

A: While they will run for days from battery power they can be wired into your computer power supply outputs or even from a standard `wall wart` type plug in adaptor. You cannot plug them directly into the mains wall socket

Q: So how long lifed are LEDs really?

A: The 100,000 hour figure, just over 11 years at 24 hours 7 days week operation , is an estimate based on the fact that LEDs are solid state semiconductors with a long expected life span.The LED may not be emitting as much light in 11 years as it did when first new though.

Q: If I have several colours how do I tell them apart when they are not switched on?

A: LED Micro Spotlites have colour coded leads according to which colour they are.
